An invitation to you and all the parts of you that long to be known.

I’m so glad you’re here

My name is Molly Leebove (she/her) and I’m a queer therapist located in Detroit. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, non-pathologizing and grounded in the recognition that broader sociopolitical forces are inextricably linked with and inform our mental health.

I strive to cultivate an environment where we can explore life’s complexities with compassion and care. I draw upon a multitude of counseling theories and interventions, yet am most inspired by my training and ongoing study of Internal Family Systems Therapy.

Bringing both professional expertise and lived experience into our sessions, I provide a framework for exploration, processing, and embodying ways of being that support you to navigate your life with greater self-assuredness, compassion, and trust in your inner wisdom.

Specialty areas: I specialize in navigating difficult family dynamics, including estrangement and high-conflict families. I also work with clients exploring spirituality, gender identity, and other major shifts in life. Additionally, I am happy to provide therapy for therapists, caregivers, and activists who are navigating the serious and ongoing emotional demands of their work. I also work with couples.
